CASA Ambassadors play a critical role in carrying out the mission of CASA – to advocate for each child that has entered the court system due to abuse and neglect. Certified Ambassadors select one or more CASA activities they would enjoy and feel comfortable doing.
CASA Ambassadors work in the community and increase the public’s awareness about CASA’s mission and the critical need for volunteers. Training to be an Ambassador consists of two, face-to-face sessions. The training provides an understanding of the work of CASA’s and gives Ambassadors the skills and materials to accomplish the activities they choose.
